«Psychotic Bathtub – The Story of an Escalating Mind. And Ducks.» deals with a psychotic disorder and is a multilinear indie story game.
You find yourself as Ophelia in your bathtub and interact with the environment: Argue with your rubber duck, drink wine, add more bathwater. Each of your interactions threatens to escalate and has severe consequences: You drown your duck, the wine turns into poison, the bathroom is flooded. And so you move through the disorder towards different endings.
«Psychotic Bathtub» is in development. Its most recent prototype offers four different endings, a playtime up to thirty minutes and can be downloaded here.
«Psychotic Bathtub – The Story of an Escalating Mind. And Ducks.» is developed by the Game and Narrative Designer Natasha Sebben. Next to the development of «Psychotic Bathtub» Natasha works as a freelance Narrative Designer and supports game studios in the creation of their stories. Additionally she teaches Storytelling and Game Visuals at the Zurich University of the Arts, Switzerland.
«Psychotic Bathtub's» soundtrack and sound design are created by Esteban Umiglia and Jonas Roulet.
